Are we really in control? I was feeding my cat today. When he gets treats, or his soft food, my rule is he needs to sit nicely first, and then he gets the food. I couldn’t help but wonder, if he thought he was controlling me, by choosing to sit, because he learned he gets his food when he sits. Well, not every time that he sits. That would be more food and treats than are healthy for him. But at any rate…

Like many things, control is a sort of grey area. There are some things that we just can’t force to do what we want. And yet, we still have the ability to choose how we behave. Even when we are triggered, we have choices on what to do about it. We can choose to use various techniques to adjust which energies we allow into our energetic fields, we can adjust the frequency of our energetic fields, and we are responsible for the energies that emanate from our energy fields. We can sometimes modify our surroundings to promote or dissuade behaviors. But I guess my main point, is that we really only have true control of ourselves, and perhaps there are limits to our options in each moment.

Pictured here, is Davis with HIS crocheted toy. Speaking of control… He wouldn’t leave his boy’s crocheted toys alone. So, we gave him one of his own. It has worked for the most part.

Thank you for joining me for this mindful moment on response-ability! To see them as I share them, follow me on Facebook or Instagram.

I wish you all the best in health and abundance!
