After returning from Wyoming, I’ve been preoccupied with family life, laundry, and integrating all the information and energies from my trip. I’ve only written a handful of mindful moments. But, I set my intent to write more!

There are lots of different ways that different people smudge. I usually go through an area with plain sage. I circle each room three times, and wafte the smoke outwards. I visualize it reaching every single nook and cranny in the room. As I do my three rounds, I say this prayer three times:
“I command all negative energies, entities, barnacles, and chords to leave.”
Without the prayer, I feel the sage smoke alone isn’t as effective against sentient energies.

I would also like to note, that I am taking appointments for distance reiki. I like to time it to the full moon (like the one next Wednesday, Sept. 2) and the new moons.

I have a lot to reflect on from my trip to Wyoming. Last weekend, as we were preparing to anchor in the city of light Avalon at Jenny Lake in the Grand Tetons National Park, Spirit said, “if 7 people can’t work together to make this happen, what hope do we have for humanity?” And that question has stuck with me, as something rather important to look at.

We are exiting a long era of domination and subservience. We are re-membering what it was like before patriarchy. To live in more equitable societies thousands of years ago on earth, and planets light-years away.

Spirit tells me this is a time for collaboration and co-creation. However, I am finding that many of us don’t know how to do that. We don’t know what that looks like, especially when we’re working with people who hold different values and visions than our own. Perhaps we’re inventing this new way of being as we trod (and stumble) along.

To me it feels like one giant experiment. That being said, I am very curious to know. What does it mean to you, to collaborate? What do that look like? How do you come about decisions and action plans? Do you divide work? Is someone designated as a moderator? And what does one do, when a group member’s convictions are wildly different from one’s own? I would love to hear about your thoughts and experiences!

Have you ever connected with a divine aspect of yourself, that some regard as a goddess, saint, ascended master, or other divine being? As I integrate and reflect on my voyage to Wyoming a week ago, I keep going back to a particular experience. Rev. Kari Chapman offered to initiate us into the Order of Archangel Michael. Those who were already in it, would be initiated at a higher level. As I awaited my turn, I saw armor around me. It was light, and silvery. As I kneeled, I held up the selenite sword (Excalibur), and felt an amazing energy come through me. I felt my ancestors present. Most people in the room saw it. And we discovered that those were the energies of Joan of Arc. Part of me wants to think it was make belief. Seriously, me? Joan of Arc lol. But, my higher self feels the truth in it. That she’s always been an aspect of me, waiting for me to be at the vibration for her to come through. And through me, to others.

So, I’ve been meditating a lot on what master Joan has been bringing to the world. She teaches us (especially women), what it can look like to stand in our divine feminine power. To temper fierceness with calculation. To develop discernment to know information from spirit, vs. elsewhere. And the courage to stand in our conviction, even though others may tell us we’re wrong. I feel she is also showing us to be higher dimensional leaders, as we move into an age of collaboration and co-creation. This is personally what I have received in connecting with her.

Last night, I was guided to look her up in the Keepers of the Light Oracle deck by Kyle Gray. His information validated some of my own information. One interesting thing that struck me, is that Archangel Michael had appeared to Joan of Arc. Another thing that struck me, is that she brings bravery and healing to lightworkers who fear persecution. I personally find that is a very real thing for many lightworkers. Many of us have been persecuted in past lives (with bodily harm etc.) for doing our work. Some of us feel persecuted even in this lifetime as well. Perhaps we aren’t being burnt at the stake. But we do sometimes face ostracism, criticism, shaming, and the fear that people will not like us. I admit that I fear these things myself from time to time. But, onwards to feeling a little braver to show my whole self a bit more freely!

Here’s a picture of Joan of Arc from the Keepers of Light Oracle deck.

Thank you for following along with me on this journey! The past week or so has been transformative for me. Soon, I will be taking some new steps to show up in a different way. Stay tuned for more information!
