About Rev. Jessica
I am Reverend Jessica and Blue Star Gaia is my ministry to the greater Mankato area, and beyond. My intention, is to assist humanity, by inspiring and empowering seekers to tap into the healer within, and find their unique way of working with the Divine. As a shaman, I walk through life consistently connected with Divine, and the physical dimension of Earth. I strive to serve the Divine with balanced tolerance, generosity, charity, mercy, compassion, and an appreciation for humor. All moments of my life are spiritual, from doing laundry, to lighting prayer candles. It is always an honor to see into another’s soul, and to touch another’s heart.
As a well seasoned practitioner, I bring years of study and experience to my work. As a child, my first round of awakening began in 1993 with a fascination in all things paranormal and unexplained. As a young teenager, I was intrigued with divination, and found the Tarot cards especially resonated with me. In college, I explored spirituality and religion. One of my focuses was a cross cultural look at witchcraft. In 2007 I earned a B.A. in anthropology and communication studies. I also was blessed with opportunities to delve into personal practice in eclectic paganism, with a Hindu flavor. Experiences with depression, and a life altering accident, inspired me to delve deeper into the basics of holistic healing. I became an Usui Reiki master in 2013. Then I completed Shaman training in 2014 through Soulspeak Communications LLC, and delved deeper with a dream interpretation course in 2016. The Hope Interfaith Center has been instrumental in my journey as well. I was ordained in 2015 as an interfaith minister, upon completing their Leadership Program (interfaith seminary). A core value for me, is being teachable, and continue to deepen my studies as I feel guided.

Consent is one of my most important ethics. I will not do psychic readings or other shamanic work unless I have a client’s consent. Children under the age of 18 must have parental consent.
I strongly value client confidentiality, and do not talk about clients with other people. It’s up to the client to disclose what they wish to share and to whom.
I value my clients’ time, and try to be mindful to give ample notice in the rare event I may need to reschedule an appointment.
I treat all clients with respect, dignity, and gentleness, regardless of skin color, sexual orientation, political views, taste in music, spiritual practice/religion, and socioeconomic status.
